Prettiest Pink Ever

After a few stressful weeks, I am finally at a point where I can catch my breath again. Only a couple more weeks before summerbreak starts, woohoo!
When I have a lot to do I usually don't spend much time on how I look, no make up, comfy clothing and messy hair. Being able to paint my nails again tonight made me somehow very happy. Let's say I'm easily satisfied (:

Nailpolish used:
Fogan Cosmetics no. 44.

This is one of my Fogan nailpolishes (you know, the cheap ones) and the colour really surprised me. I have my fair share of pink nailpolishes, but this one is so pretty! It is really pink-pink and vibrant. It is the ultimate barbie-pink polish. This might not be everyone's cup of tea, but for me it is an instant favourite!
So, I'm back on track: got my nails did and now it is time to get back into blogging. I need to smash one test only and it's hellooo summer (and free time)!
For all the girls who still have tons to do: you can do it! Good luck, I'll be rooting for you!
Are you excited for summer? Allready tired of the heat...?

I ♥ Arrows

Lately, I have been loving arrows. They add an adventurous touch to an oufit, or a room!
My Forever21 arrow necklace gets worn almost everyday and I think the world must be sick of it! So I decided to make a little arrow-inspired wishlist to be able to alternate between different pieces of jewellery.
I'm realizing now what an odd subject arrows are for a wishlist... I just like 'em guys! Can't help it!
Are you digging the arrow trend?

1. Dainty bracelet with a litte arrow, €4,95 from OhSoHIP.
2. Very chic bangle, €13,81 from LETTERSEARRING.
3. Inspiration from Apartment Therapy.
4. Cute wrap ring, €10,86 from applelatte.

OOTD | Printed Pants

Spring is finally here! In fact, it is so warm today, I didn't even wear this for too long. Shorts were a lot more appropiate for the weather.
These pants are so cool! I like the print a lot and all the colours makes them very easy to combine with all kinds of tops.

Unfortunately, I don't have the time to enjoy the sun just yet. The next two weeks I'm going to be very busy for university.
This post will be the last one for quite some time (at least, I think so). I hope to be back in full force soon!

I'm wearing:
Top: Primark
Trousers: VS. Miss
Shoes: Van Haren
Hat: Vintage

Five Things # 8

Cucumber Water
I´ve made it a priority to drink enough water everyday, which is I believe 1.5 liters. Though I don´t dislike the taste of water, it does get boring after a while. Enter: cucumber water. Water + slices of cucumber and you're done. It just tastes a bit more interesting and it looks cute!
I've become a little obsessed with it and I'm trying to find a way to bring it with me to university, without having to squish the slices into a water bottle...

New Blogs and Comments
In the context of 'huge procrastination session, which should really end now', I have been posting a lot more on my blog and I have been reading a lot more blogs! Let's forget about the negative result here (no work done) and focus on the positive. I love seeing all the things other girls come up with! It's great to see so many creative and inspiring posts, outfits, DIYs etc.
And I luuuurve reading your comments! I discover loads of new blogs through those, so thanks for that! Although I have had this blog for almost a year now (!!), I have discovered this past month how much I actually like blogging.
Long story short: Guys, you will be seeing a lot more posts from me, and I hope to see a lot more from you too!

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash
When I mentioned this product in my Colours of the Rainbow-tag, I had only really used it for two or three days. Now it has been in my morning and evening routine, and it is definitely a favourite! It smells really fresh, foams a little (it just feels better when something foams, doesn't it?) and leaves my skin sqeaky-clean after I rinse my face. I didn't expect a lot from it, because I had already tried the 'pure' Tea Tree Oil and that only dried my skin out... But this is a very nice face wash!

Something Embarrassing
Ahem, I have a confession to make. I'm a lost cause. Whenever there is a stupid song, or a stupid band, I somehow end up on a point where I don't know whether I like the song 'cause it's so dumb ("haha, it's so stupid, let's listen to it again"), or I genuinely like it ("no, this song is really amazing!").
Example: One Direction.
No, please don't leave! I'm not a crazy fangirl, and I wouldn't even list them close to my favourite bands, but I kinda like their songs... They're just so darn catchy. But yeah, that all started as a joke to piss off my brothers.
And now it is this song: Mind Is Blown from Mainstreet. I somehow keep playing it on Spotify and singing along to it. It's amazing to see, what it's doing to me.
I will be over there, in the corner of shame, if you need me...

Rushmore
Have any of you seen this movie? It's sooo good! Funny and smart and very unpredictable! The director is Wes Anderson, who also directed Moonrise Kingdom. Rushmore has the same vibe going on and I think the way he creates his own worlds is very beautiful. Now, I want to see The Royal Tenenbaums, I hope it is just as good.

Day in Photos: May 31st

I always like to read this kind of post on other blogs, so here is my own version!
It was fun to do and I got to know my camera better. I think I'll do this kind of post every once in a while :)
These are the photos of last Friday:
7am Took an early train with J. to Utrecht. I overslept, so I had to hurry to make it!
8am I returned some books in the library of the university and then picked out some new ones to use for my thesis.
9am Because I still hadn't had breakfast, I bought some to enjoy during the train ride home.
10am Some browsing in the Hema before work. I really like these new colours they have! Considering to buy the lilac one...
12pm It was a bit cold when I went to Utrecht, but now the sun is shining! Quick outfit change :)
13pm Having some 'fancy' sandwiches for lunch, accompanied with cucumber water and a new episode of Hannibal (are any of you watching it?). Good start of the afternoon!
14pm Cleaned my room a little and watered the plants.
15pm The sun is shining directly into my room! I took the opportunity to stick my legs out the window and try to make them look less like milk bottles...
16pm I finally had the courage to start doing something for my thesis.
17pm On my way to my aunt and uncle for a movie night! This was the last photo I took Friday.
